My uncle file false fir against us we satisfied the IO that the cases are false. The officer said that we dismissed that case. I want to know that is it possible?
A.Yes, it is possible. The IO has that power.

A.If the officer says so it implies that the FIR was not registered and the police was acting only on the unregistered complaint of your uncle. And did you manage to have a look at the FIR copy? Check from police station whether it was actually registered. If yes, then he cannot “dismiss” as all actions regarding same are within the powers of the concerned court.
