A.Since your loan account was declared NPA therefore you were blacklisted in your CIBIL Report. You made a mistake by not taking NOC from HDFC bank for clearing you from CIBIL at the time of settlement. Since you have not done so, and the bank had also not removed your name from the blacklist. Generally, a settlement does not fully absolves you from your liabilities. For this reason you are not entitled to get any further loans from any financial institutions. What you can do now is to speak with the bank if they can make arrangement for removing your name from the blacklist, if not then you need to send a legal notice through a lawyer.

You also mentioned that there is a criminal proceeding brought against you by the bank, in this scenario, you should approach high court for quashing the criminal proceeding.

A.It seems that the bank has committed a blunder for which you are made ro suffer. You have a solid case to go against them and seek compensation for the wrongdoings.
Better you speak to a lawyer soon and start the legal procedure.
