A.The legal authority of the wife can not take away the husband . Therefore, after the death of the pension holder, his wife will receive a family pension only.
In the following scenario the pensioner's wife will not receive a family pension: If they have not been divorced, or after the death of the pensioner, his wife is not married or the woman is not doing any job.

A.Dear client the honest answer is Yes. She is eligible for getting pension after death of pensioner. In case of wife / husband, Family pension can be commenced by the pension disbursing authority on the basis of application made by family pensioner along with copy of death certificate, in case where the name of the beneficiary has already been mentioned in the pension payment order. However, if the name of the beneficiary is not mentioned in the PPO, then application is to be submitted to the head of office for obtaining fresh sanction.

A.The answer to this question lies in the fact that why the employee was not getting pension? Was there the pension system available and was he eligible? If answer these questions are yes then find out the reason for not getting the pension to him when he applied. There could be some technical problem or more information needed by the organization. Secondly also find out whether family pension is there or not?
