sir,
my wife underwent an ivf procedure at the P D Hinduja Hospital in mumbai in feb - 2015 in september 2015 she delievered twins boy and girl. it was an embroy donation procedure at the time of the procedure i was not properly explained about the procedure that who will be the biological father of the child after the childrens were born i came to know that i was not the biological father(EMBROY DONATION MEANS EGGS AND SPERMS OF HEALTHY COUPLE ARE TAKEN FROM OUSIDE AND THE PROCEDURE IS DONE) to the child the hospital had cheated me on that .as i had signed the consent documents unknowlingly about the paternity of the child. i complained to the hospital about it but they said that nothing can be done now. i resigned to the fact and accepted the truth. but in feb 2017 one of the child male was detected with a very rare form of eye cancer in the right eye(retinoblastoma) because of which his whole right eye had to be removed at the tata hospital mumbai. the doctors said that there were 50% chances that the other eye might also get infected. a genetic evaluation done at tata hospital says that the baby might develop other forms of cancer in future also. the doctors at tata hospital said that that the child got cancer because one of the doners parents male or female might be caring the disease.

You must have been signed the medico legal contract where could have been explained in detail prior this all procedure adopted by Doctors and perhaps that declaration documents must have been signed also by your wife too. you can not deny , now after birth of issue. i do not suggest to go in all litigation , rather ur wife has given birth of twin hence you both should be happy instead of finding the Biological father or mother. you are blessed with children, time has made possible without any hope, even in dream to ave a child.

If you are not from medical background then you can raise such issue of misleading you and claim damages from the hospital with other consequential reliefs.
