Medical test issue

Me and my wife went to medical test to conform pregnancy.in that report they said positive.she is pregnant.after one week again we went to the medical test , in that test report she was not pregnant. The first test report was wrong.that created lots of issue within our family ... Can i go for legal action against that lab.

A.Yes file a complaint before the Consumer Forum and seek compensation

A.Dear client if you have valid proof of previous test then you must file complaint into district consumers court and ask compensation for misleading information,mental harassment,false treatment. Even you can file criminal complaint.

A.You have two options :-
1. File consumer complaint before District Consumer Court, by giving prior notice to diagnostic Centre, quantify the quantum of damages by wrong report of it.
2.Secondly, you may lodge a F. I. R for wrong and fraudulent report.

A.Yes you can file a consumer complaint against the laboratory for wrong medical test reports. Before filing consumer forum complaint, you should send a letter/legal notice to the other party explaining the deficiency of service etc along with basic proofs like first (wrong) and second (actual) report, date of reports etc which establish a consumer relationship with them. If they don't reply or reply with a false denial, you can approach consumer forum as given below.
You can file complaint in district consumer forum of your city.
Contents of Consumer Complaint
Procedures for filing complaints and seeking redressal are simple. A Complaint should contain the following information:
1. The name, description and address of the complainant.
2. The name, description and address of the opposite party or parties, as the case may be as for as they can be ascertained.
3. The facts relating to complaint and when and where it arose.
4. Documents, if any, in support of the allegations contained in the complaint.
5. The relief which the complainant is seeking. The complaint should be signed by the complainant or his authorized agent. The Complaint is to be filed within two years from the date on which the cause of action has arisen.

A.Yes you can file consumer complaint against them and ask for compensation for mental agony and harassment or you can file criminal complaint against them for giving false information to the coustomers and make him learn the lesson.
