Regarding Deposit Amount. Regarding Deposit Amount.

Hi Sir/Ma'am,

I am staying with my friend in 2BHK in Bangalore.
Due to some issues my friend told me to vacate the house.
And I have found the new house for me.
The Deposit amount was 50,000/- and my friend took 25,000/- from me.
He gave the full amount to Landlord and didn't tell that half of the deposit is from me.

Now my question is, If my friend refuses to return my Deposit.
What would be the legal formalities to take my money back?

A.Facts not clear. Can you be specific about your situation. In whose favour the Leave and License agreement was entered? Was it executed jointly or singly as Licensee? Is there anything in paper of your handing over Rs 25000/- to your friend.

A.Dear friend,
Option 1.Try to sort it amicably and decently since he is your friend.
Option 2. In between try to gather collect evidence for future course of action.
If your problem is solved by option 1 we will not resort to 2.
If at at all we go to 2 then we can use the information immediately which you might have collected in the meantime.
