Father property

My father sold half of his house to his brother in law and remaining portion gifted to his sister, now we see that the gifted portion electricity bill is coming under his sister name but the sold portion bill is coming under my father name. Please advise is it possible that after sale also the bill will come under the seller's name?

A.Dear Client very simple.Contat electricity department and ask to seperate line and a new meter for that portion or install a submeter and divede the bill by the units comsumed.
