CAN DISABILITY PENSION OF AN ARMY PERSONNEL / EX-SERVICEMAN BE REDUCED DIRECTLY FROM 100 PERCENT TO 0 PERCENT, IN A REVIEW MEDICAL BOARD. IF YES WILL HE LOSE HIS SERVICE PENSION ALSO THE SERVICE BEING 02 YEARS ONLY APPROXIMATELY. CAN MEDICAL CATEGORY EEE PERMANENT BE DIRECTLY UPGRADED TO MEDICAL CATEGORY A OR SHAPE - 1 OF AN EX-SERVICEMAN, WHO WAS SUFFERING FROM PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS.
A.The medical board review is limited to disability pension only and not the defence pension. Medical board gives report basing on the case study.

A.Dear Sir,
You have the right to go against the Medical Board provided you are right and the certificate has to be obtained from the Experts of the Government Hospital( either state government or government of India).You have the right to move to the High Court.

A.Medical Board arbitrarily cannot do so and it must give a reason for doing this. If they have done it then you straight way challenge this in the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) If you are in the eastern region then contact me for further help.
