Dear All,
I have a situation at hand. I need to renew my passport and for that, I need to endorse my husband's name on the passport. In my passport and other documents my name is Aparna Dutt, while on the marriage certificate it is Aparna Dutt Sharma.
I would like to edit my name in the Marriage certificate from Aparna Dutt Sharma to Aparna Dutt. Could you please help with process.
It is required a bit urgent as I have a few travels scheduled in the next month.

If you have marriage certificate with name as proposed then you can apply for change of name accordingly or comply the instructions as may be suggested by the passport authorities.
