A.Therefore if the lock-in clause in a leave and license agreement states that, in case of breach of the said clause, the licensee is liable to pay the rent for the remaining lock-in period i.e., rent of 33 months, is not really enforceable in a court of law.

A.Lock in period means that the party to the agreemwnt will have to maintain the agreement for the said period and the termination can not be initiated.
For example if there is a lease agreemnt of say 10 years and it has a lock in period of say 3 years then this lease agreement can not be terminated before expiry of 3 years.

A.Sir lock in period is a term used whereby you are bound to keep things as it is for a certain period of time, generally pre - decided. It would be better if you could share full details for further assistance.

A.Dear Sir,
Please have a look to the following.
An agreement between a mortgage bank and a potential borrower promising that that the bank will not change the proposed interest rate on a loan that has not been concluded for a certain period of time. The rate lock usually lasts for 60 days.
Equity Linked Savings Schemes (ELSSs) or tax saving mutual fund schemes come with a mandatory lock-in period of three years. The lock-in period is applicable to every Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) instalment in the ELSS. You can redeem aSIP investment only after it completes the lock-in period of three years
most mutual funds do not have a lock-in period. In fact, Equity-Linked Savings Schemes (ELSS), popularly known as tax-saving mutual funds, are the only (open-ended) mutual funds in India that have a lock-in period. The lock-in period for these funds is 3-years.
