person who borrowed money is dead

dear sir,i given 2.5 lakhs to my friend for interest and he died two days back.the only proof which i have is blank cheque. he is trust worthy guy but in his home no one is ready to answer for borrowed money.is there any way to take back the money.

A.dear client in your case if you have any evidence of money lending then there are chances like ex Mode of transfer, witness available, types of witness, agreement etc. You may consult for an expert advice on the same.

A.No. You have no legal right, further there is money lending Act, under which only licensed money lender can do the money lending for interest all transactions are duly recorded and as per the money lending act regulations.Better consult a professional lawyer to guide & help you and protect your money.
