Hello, I recently got married in Hyderabad and registered it. The marriage certificate does has two fields (blanks) for my spouse name stating that, Venkatesh Penchala is married to Harini Sherry (before marriage), Harini Penchala(after marriage). But we did not ask him to change the name and don't want to change it either. He just gave this certificate. Is this a problem? If so can we change the name?

A. I presume that your maiden name is noted as name before marriage and name after marriage must be shown as your married name.

I had bought a land with my own money in 1990 and registed with my father name and signed by me.In 2010 my father give the property to my only younger brother and registed as giftdeed without my permission. How can i claim against this property and my child has right to claim on it?

A. Property is owned by your father as per records and it's become his self acquired property and he gifted it away. Though you signed the agreement you had signed for and on behalf of your father. You lost your right if any. Give notice to your father and brother and file a civil suit claiming your right title and interest and pursue the case. Take legal assistance from a local advocate.

If I apply for a loan to buy land in the name of a society, can I get the land registered on an individual's name who is a member of society or should it only be registered in the name of Society?

A. Whoever applies for loan to buy land the land should be registered and conveyed in its/their name. For example, if an individual applies personally for loan to buy land, then the purchaser should be that individual. If a society applies for loan to buy land in its name then the land should be bought in society's name.
