my brother passed away last year and he got married at 2018 and he wedlock witha girl child after death of my brother , my brother wife went her home back and she taken the share of husband property one flat and some of PF amount and later my father protecting the land of 2 acres , meanwhile my brother wife came intlo action and asking the whole property and she filed a private complaint againts the my father and my brother wife having influence , the police officer were calling my father to police station and using bad words .. my question was that my father is not ready to go police station is any further option is there for investigation path or should we file any complaint against the police officer or my brothers wife

A.Dear Client!

Police has no role in partition of property. Your brother wife can ho to court to seek her share in the property.

You need take the help of an Advocate who can tell the police not to bother your father.
