Driving licence lost by Police and RTO Driving licence lost by Police and RTO

My driving licence of Uttar Pradesh was submitted to Tamil Nadu RTO and they informed that it's sent to Kanpur RTO but no information available , how can I state it Lost so that no future issues happen.
I currently stay in bangalore karnataka

A.Dear Sir,
U may try to get an endorsement from the Tamilnadu RTO that the said original DL was lost in transit. Otherwise, u may file an Affidavit narrating all the details and try to get duplicate DL.

A.Hello sir,
You are requested to contact the concerned RTO/Department to get the Driving License dispatch tracking number. Using the number you can track the status of the License.
