My housing society handed over my flat
My housing society handed over my flat to deputy registrar for recovery of the society dues. Now I paid them in full 3 months back. The society written a letter to the Deputy registrar but my flat is still not returned. What are my options now?
A.Dear Client,
On payment of Society dues, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies is duty-bound to release your flat. However, when you do not receive any response either from the Society or Registrar, you need to meet the Dy. Registrar physically to access the reason behind the delay in the return of the flat. You can also escalate your grievance before the secretary to the Ministry of Cooperative and Municipal Affairs for redressal of your grievance.

A.Dear Client
If your housing society has handed over your flat to the deputy registrar for recovery of society dues, and you have paid the dues in full three months ago, but your flat has not been returned, you have a few options to consider-
Contact the deputy registrar: You can contact the deputy registrar to inquire about the status of your flat and ask for an update on when it will be returned to you.
Contact the housing society: You can also contact the housing society and ask them to follow up with the deputy registrar to expedite the process of returning your flat.
