A.Dear Client,
As per the Policy of Refund of Fees of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the fee once paid by candidate shall not be refunded / adjusted under any circumstances and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. However failure in electronic transmission, double payments, lost transaction (after payment) will be considered for refund. Multiple payments, that are received by us for the same student registration number, will be identified by the system and are refunded for the credit of the respective accounts from where they originated, by the office, within 30 days of the last date for submission of forms. In case you have made payment of exam fees more than once and do not get a refund within 30 days from the last date for submission of forms, you can claim a refund of the excess amount paid by you, by writing to us at [email protected] within 45 days from the last date for submission of forms, along with documentary evidence, such as bank/credit card statement, of having paid the exam fees more than once. ICAI will verify the same and refund the excess amount, if any, paid by you. So, being the above policy in place, your claim for refund of fees made by default on your part is typically out of ambit of the said policy.

A.Dear Client,
Contact the ICAI's local branch or the central office and explain your situation. They may be able to provide guidance on what options are available to you and whether there is any recourse. Additionally, review the terms and conditions you agreed to when paying your CA Intermediate fees. If the institute refuses to refund your fees or you believe you have a legitimate case for a refund based on the institute's policies, you may consider filing a civil lawsuit in a court of law.

A.Dear Sir,
You cannot get refund from the Government Authority or autonomous institutions like institution of chartered accountants. It is your negligence that without checking your eligibility you have paid fees of CA inter.
