A.Dear Client,

In the absence of a clear refund policy for course cancellations midway, seeking relief through litigation becomes challenging. It's crucial to note that charging for services not rendered constitutes a deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. To address this, consider sending a strong legal notice to the Doon Defence Dreamers Institute and, if necessary, file a complaint before the District Consumer Commission. This complaint should claim a refund of tuition fees and compensation for any harassment endured. It is essential to initiate this process within two years from the date of the cause of action. Consulting with an advocate for guidance on the merit of your claim, estimated litigation costs, and the likely duration is advisable before pursuing legal action to address your grievance.

A.Dear client
If the institute is not returning the fee then send them a legal notice through a pleader/advocate seeking the refund. You can also initiate a consumer case against them for the refund of the fees.
If your son is not going to study there then they have no right to hold the fees and should refund the whole amount or partial amount after deducting some administrative charges and that should be ok.

A.Dear Client,
In the absence of a refund policy on cancellation of course midway, it is very difficult to ensure any relief in the matter even through litigation. It is also a fact, that without providing a service to a consumer, a service provider cannot claim or charge for the service not rendered by the service provider. which amounted to a deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. In the prevailing situation, serving a strong legal notice to the Doon Defence Dreamers Institute, file a complaint against them before the District Consumer Commission claiming a refund of tuition fees and compensation for harassment. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action. Reach out to an Advocate for guidance and steps. It is advisable to ensure yourself of the merit in your claim, the estimated cost of litigations, and the approximate time involved before opting for litigation to redress your grievance
