Can I do regular degree while in government service.

Sir, I am working in a PSU. Currently, I am also pursuing a regular degree course while working . I have not taken prior permission before doing the coarse from comprtent authority of my company.
Can I apply for job in other PSU on the basis of that degree.
Is it legal.
If I got selected, will I be liable for any disciplinary action in future or there will be no issue.

While in government service, you have to abide by the service rules. Without taking permission or NOC you cannot even join Evening College, which may not come in the way of your Office work. While working in the Government Office during office hours, you have stated also that you have attended a regular Degree course and showed attendance at the Government Office as well as the Educational Institute, which is a proven misconduct with recorded evidence attracting a major penalty. You have also failed to obtain NOC from the Government before joining the regular course. By doing so, you have suppressed material information and misrepresented the facts to the Government tantamount to major misconduct. The qualification and experience during the same period cannot be used for further jobs as both overlap on which both the Government and the University can initiate action against you.
