Financial scam related to escort service

Sir i lost around 20k to a escort agency. They didn't provide the sevice and i got scammed. How can i lodge a complaint against this and is there any possibility to get my amount back
A.Dear client, you can file a case of cheating on them under sec 420 of ipc. And also file a complaint in the consumer forum regarding deficiency of service by the company.

In the given situation, you can file a complaint against the escort agency for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices before the Dist. Consumer Commission under Sec.35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 claiming a refund of lost money along with compensation for harassment. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action. Apart from this, you can file a money suit against them under Order 37 of the Code of Civil Procedure which is a summary suit that offers speedy disposal of the suit as here the defendant is not required to defend as a matter of right.
