Builder not returning money

Hello Sir, I paid 50,000 advance to builder in the year 2015 assuming that he will start the property construction, but till date there is nothing which has got initiated, I am asking for refund of my advance deposit and he is not giving it. What should I do in this case, I have photo of the cheque which I gave along with a receipt from builder. Kindly suggest. Regards Bhaskar

A.dear client in your matter You need to send him a Legal Notice asking for the refund of the amount along with damages
sustained. A better advice would have been given if you would have shared the agreement between you and the builder.

A.send them a legal notice asking for the same. After that you can file consumer case against the builder.

A.Serve a 15 days legal notice to the builderasking for refund with interest .if not returned file a case under the consumer act.if the builder doesn't have permission to construct and yet took money , it amounts to cheating also.Then file complaint with the police also.
