A.Dear Client,
Tell me the purpose. Why do you want to do it?
Legally speaking,Legal Procedures in Case of Person of Unsound Mind under Indian Criminal Laws
It deals mainly with accused persons who are of unsound mind at the time of the inquiry or trial. Cases of persons who are of unsound mind at the time of the commission of the offence are dealt with by section 84 of the Indian Penal Code, to which a reference may be made.
The Code provides that if the accused is of unsound mind at the time of the inquiry or trial, and therefore, incapable of making his defence, the Magistrate or the Court (as the case may be), must ascertain on evidence, including medical evidence, whether, in fact, the accused is of unsound mind. If he is satisfied about the same, a finding to that effect is to be recorded, and further proceedings in the case are to be postponed.
If you need additional information please do let me know.
