My husband immediately tortured me after marriage .after some year I started replying to my husband for his demands.noe they HV started fighting with me since 1 yr.they want me not to speak for whatever they do.last 1year he fought with me and told me to go .after that I m at my house not with him now he s asking me indirectly for divorce and his dad also I refused so they transfered the dowry amount 7, Lacs to my account.i m really fed up with these people eat should I do .someone told me that my dowry case can not be filed.i hvproof of giving7 lacs .they HV my gold and cash I really want to punish them his dad is a family court lawyer so they think they can do anything

You have the right to go to the Court of Law.
Why are you interested to live in a abusive relationship?
You can also ask for Divorce.

U file a complaint in mahila thana for domestic voilence and file a case of maintenace in court.
If his father is lawyer it will make no difference.
Dear client they have returned your dowry so u can not file acse saying that they r asking dowry.They hav done so to save them from sec 498 a that is dowry case.

Thanku sir but I HV proof of 7 lac .he has my ornament s even his ornaments which they gifted me at the time of marriage .and they took cash also 2 lac around .just by giving the cheque amount 7 Lacs he l be saved ,wat about the dowry torture which he did .use to fight with me.said bad things that my dad is kanjus etc his mother asking for v
Car and many more things .they will be saved.now if they come home and try return these things wat should I do

Dear client Lodge an FIR under sec 498 a in Mahila Thana. and wait for some time and let them be arrested. If after lodging FIR Police does not take any action due to their influence then u may file a petition in High Court stating that Police is saving him due to his approach. .
Let this case start first then file a case of Maintenance. Do not file a case of divorce.
Dear client u will be successful in getting them punished and also get maintenance as well as 1/2 of your husbands property.
