Dear sir,
I work in a Limited when I joined the company. The notice period of 30 days was written in the appointment letter and now the HR department is saying that the notice period of all the employees has become 60 days. Here is the notice by company



Dear All

Keeping in view of company business policies at specific function level in respect to Notice period & some other general disciplinary regulation terms, Company management hereby decided to amend the same in case of employee's excluding on FTC, who are presently designated up to Deputy Manager, with immediate effect the said amendment is in with reference to your employment contract app terms as per appointment letter already issued to concerned employees, under clause 3 (general conditions) following will be the addition in clause 2 (Notice Period) an

2.1) After confirmation of services, two months' notice in writing will be given by either party in the intention to terminate the employment contract and during the notice period bath will continue to function by discharging their responsibilities and duties to each other in full measure in case you decide to leave the services of the company at will, you will have to give two months notice or gross salary pay in lieu of two months' notice subject to the discretion of the management of the company regarding early reliving from services, similarly, your services can also be terminated by management on diving you two months notice or gross salary notice pay in lieu thereof however accumulated leaves will not be adjusted in lieu of notice period

We are confident that you will accomplish your responsibilities as assigned to you from time to time by your department head and other seniors of the company. effectively and redeem our trust in you. We hope you will meet the present responsibilities as well as future responsibilities as given by the company with full devotion. Consequently, we look forward for your positive contribution and commitment. The other terms and conditions of the employment will remain same

This circular shall take effect immediately I.e., from 20th Day of February 2023

A.Hello Sir,
Since they have sent a official circular regarding this andcompany canchange it's policy so it is legal to do that.
