Land acquisition compensation

Our land in my village is being acquired by NTPC. However for employment purposes we are living in city with my family. We have already been given compensation for land. However payment for displacement is pending.
My question is:- Are we not eligible for compensation as displaced persons as other persons who are actually living in the village?
After all our permanent address is of village only and for earning our livelihood we are living in city.
Please advise. Kindly also provide relevant case studies which may be in our favour.

In case the other villagers are getting the compensation for displacement then ideally you should also get the same for that you need to check the notification published by NTPC for the said acquisition. That notice should be clarifying all about it.
