PF withdrawal issue PF withdrawal issue

Currently I am not working and want to withdraw my PF. My new employer had created a new UAN instead of using the old UAN. My PF amount from previous employer was transferred to the new employer but the pension service transfer was not done. Now I find the KYC data is not updated in my old pension account. The old PF account was with a trust. When I contacted my old employer they asked me to send the KYC documents with the joint declaration form which they have to sent to RPFC for KYC update. I sent them the documents and as per their advice and raised a grievance under EPFO to know the status of my case. The RPFC disposed of my case saying the KYC data has to be updated only by the employer. Now I am confused whether the I should approach my old employer or RPFC for the KYC update. Kindly help me. I am really stuck .

A.Hello Sir,
If the member has been holding two UANs, then he or she could request the EPFO to deactivate the previous alloted UAN or Merging two accounts into a single one is not tough and employees should follow a few steps in this regard :-
The employee should complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure which covers verifying the bank account, PAN, and other details.
The employee should possess UAN and this should be linked to the present EPF account as well.
Employees should wait for a period of 3 days post activation of UAN prior to merging EPF accounts.

A.Dear client
Your problem has occurred due to the scenario that there are two pf accounts. You need to first get the two accounts reconciled by requesting the EPFO and then update the KYC. Post that you will be able to withdraw
