(NSFW) Legality issues regarding making and releasing Adult games. (NSFW) Legality issues regarding making and releasing Adult games.

I created an Adult game having some explicit visuals and 18+ content which I plan to release on hardly 1 or 2 sites. Primarily am not looking to monetize it or avail any financial gains from it as everything will be free to download. So will it be legal to do so?

Secondly , If sometime in future, I plan to monetize it or earn something from it , will it be a problem?

A.Dear Client

The legality of creating and distributing adult content depends on local laws. If the adult game is free and not monetized, it may not violate any regulations. However, if there are plans to monetize it, consulting with a legal professional is recommended to ensure compliance with relevant laws. Please seek an expert legal advice over this matter.
