How to obtain bank all details of my late father in absence of documents
11 months ago
My father was having bank account and FDs in one particular bank. He passed away 8 years before. He was living with one brother before he dies so all the bank records and identity proof is with him and he is refusing the provide all documents of my father. We have 5 legal heirs to claim that wealth. But now we have suspect that all amount and FDs are withdrawn by my brother illegally deleted the account from the records. What legal action we can take to seek my father\'s all bank records whether all bank records are Inactive, closed and deleted. Note: I have only voter Id card as Identity of my father to seek details from bank.
A.Dear Client
Your matter is a bit complicated as you do not have any information on the bank accounts. So, here are some ways to get your work done;
1. Send a letter to the bank with your father details, death certificate, aadhar card, legal heir certificate erc. and seek the information from the bank. If the bank does not give you then you can go to the court and file a case against the bank for the same.
2. You can send a legal notice to your uncle asking him to disclose all the information else you will file a cheating case against him

A.Dear Sir,
You may get legal heir certificate or prepare affidavit to that effect and file a representation before concerned Banks otherwise file a suit for partition along with interim application to summon all such documents from the concerned Banks through Court.
