I had been married for the past 9 months. my mother in law is not letting me live.she is bring up a child who is 4 years old from past 3 years. she said this child is hers sisters granddaughter. The child had parents in her native.they left her here when she was 1 year. my in law is keeping this child and torturing me. i m just treated has slave. i don't get to watch TV, i cant have food in hall, the child shits in the hall, the child is still drinking in feeding bottle, she behaves like a one year old kid. im just stuck inside my room. she wants to keep that child so badly. she doesn't care about hers sons happiness.she always gives me silent treatment. she takes her son to guilt trips. The child she is bring up , is so rude and shes uncouth. I had it enough with her , so i told my husband to send the child to her house, but my husband don't want to send her. he is telling i am behaving cheap and he cant send the child or talk to his mom about it. he told , I can leave the house if i cant handle. so i tried to contact that child's parents and explained to them, that child needs love and care from parents. but they called my mother in law and made the issue bigger. now my mother in law is jumping up and down and speaking bad about me to her relatives. she just told i don't have a job, i don't have a child so i am jealous. but i am not like that. i am educated, i am an MTech Post graduate.i am searching for a new job in IT. i believe a child needs her mother. kindly advice me. what steps i need to take. should i keep quite and go on or what. kindly educated me with some child welfare acts of India.
