Hello Sir!
This is C Manjunath. I have joined in an online Work from Home Data Entry job. They assign me a task for 12 days. Within this 12 days I have to complete and should be 85% accuracy rate. Otherwise I have to pay them 3900/-. They provided me an agreement also based on this. I completed my task with 80% accuracy. But now they are asking me for the pay. For rejecting they are threatening for filing Complaint against me. They also blaming me for this also. I have provided my aadhaar only. Now they are saying that they are going to ruin my life. Now, what should I have in my hands? and what are the procedures regarding this?

A.Dear client,
If you joined an online Work from Home Data Entry job work on receipt of any offer letter from the Company, then go through the terms and conditions of said letter that stipulate a condition of charging of fine in case of incorrect/inaccuracy response or dereliction in job. In case you find no terms as such in your offer letter then on receipt of such a threat from the Company, make a complaint against the Company at the local police station and serve a legal notice enclosing a copy of the police complaint and informing them that you are contemplating filing a criminal suit against the Company for cheating and criminal intimidation u/s.415 and 503 of IPC. Reach out to an Advocate for guidance and steps.
