You have to approach the Mandal Office. Note: Also, you can apply online by logging on to the official website from the Meeseva Center. You can obtain the application form from the Tahasildar. Enter the mandatory details in the application form.

A.Dear Client

You need to apply for the same to the local councilor or tehsildar to get the legal heir certificate. Also you can file an application to first class JM to get it through a lawyer

A.Dear Client,
Tahsildar is the competent authority to issue a Legal Heir Certificate. There are two types of services: 1) FMC(Family Member Certificate) for Government employees which would benefit the citizen in getting Pension / Gratuity/ Insurance/Provident Fund Compassionate Benefit/ All Govt. Benefits. and 2) FMC for Social Security schemes which would benefit the citizen in getting Apathbandhu Scheme / Chief Minister Relief Fund/ Housing/ Relief Fund/ Exgratia. The following are the details required at the time of applying for legal heir certificate: the name of the deceased, Details of the Family Members, Date of application, Residential address, and Applicant’s signature. The following candidates are eligible to apply for this certificate: Wife of the deceased, Son or daughter of the deceased, Father or mother of the deceased, Sibling of the deceased. Documents required to apply for a Legal Heir Certificate are - the appropriate Application Form, Ration Card/ EPIC Card/ Aadhaar Card, and Death Certificate of the deceased member of the family and a stamp of Rs.2. The applicant has to approach the Mandal Office. The applicant can also apply online by logging on to the official website from the Meeseva Center. The applicant can obtain the application form from the Tahasildar. The applicant has to attach the documents with the application form and then submit it to the Mandal Office. Once the verification process of the application is done, the authorities submit the report to the Tahasildar and based on the reports and verification, the Tahasildar issues the certificate. The certificate will be issued in 30 days from the date of application. The Legal Heir Certificate once acquired, the certificate is valid for a lifetime.
