A.Dear Client,
In India, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a national tax that is applicable to certain goods and services provided within the country, including the promotion and sale of books. Whether or not you are required to pay GST depends on various factors, such as the nature of the services you provide and the turnover of your business.

Based on the information you have provided, it appears that your turnover is below the GST threshold of 20 lakhs. In such cases, if your turnover is below the prescribed threshold limit, you may not be required to register for GST and hence not required to pay GST.

However, it is important to note that GST regulations may change over time and can vary based on jurisdiction. Therefore, it is advisable to consult with a qualified chartered accountant or GST professional who can review your specific circumstances and advise you on the applicability of GST for your business.

They will thoroughly evaluate the nature of your business, the services you provide, and other relevant factors to provide you with accurate and up-to-date advice. They can also assist you in understanding the complex GST requirements and help you comply with any necessary registration or filing obligations.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client
Your CA should be the right person to guide you on this matter and if your CA is not doing a good job then you should change it.
AS you know the threshold for GST is Rs. 40 lacs for goods and 20 lacs for service. If you consider your business as service then you must go for GST else someday you will receive a showcause notice
