I worked as a trainer with a gym for 1 year and resigned three months back. I haven't been paid my 5 months of salary. i asked my manager multiple times via whatsapp but he isn't responding. To join there i didn't sign any agreement. i was paid in cash, only once i had bank transfer. I'm trying to contact them but im not getting any response.

A.Dear Client,
I can offer some general guidance on how you might address the non-payment of your salary:

Document Everything: Gather all evidence of your employment, including any communications with your manager regarding your salary, payment history, and any other relevant details. This documentation will be crucial in making your case.

Contact Your Employer: Continue trying to reach out to your employer through multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, and written letters. Clearly state your concerns about the unpaid salary and request a response in writing. Keep a record of all your attempts to contact them.

Registered Letter: If your attempts to contact your employer have been unsuccessful, consider sending a formal letter by registered mail (with proof of delivery) to your employer's official address. In the letter, outline the issue, specify the amount of unpaid salary, and set a reasonable deadline for payment.

Contact Labor Authorities: If your efforts to resolve the matter directly with your employer are unsuccessful, you may want to contact the labor department or relevant labor authority in your jurisdiction. They can provide guidance and may be able to intervene on your behalf.

Consult an Attorney: If other methods fail to yield results, consider consulting with an attorney who specializes in labor and employment law. They can assess the specifics of your case, advise you on your legal rights, and help you pursue legal action if necessary.

Dispute Resolution Services: Some jurisdictions offer dispute resolution services for employment-related issues. Check whether your area has a labor board or ombudsman office that can assist in resolving disputes between employees and employers.

Consider Small Claims Court: Depending on the amount of unpaid salary and local regulations, you may have the option to file a claim in small claims court. This is typically a more accessible and cost-effective option for pursuing unpaid wages.

Keep Records: Throughout the process, continue to maintain meticulous records of all communication and any actions taken. This documentation will be valuable if you need to demonstrate your case to authorities or in court.
Thank you.
