Accident case - 5yr old kid suddenly came in front of my car

On a national highway,a 5yr old kid suddenly came in front of my car and got injured, i took him to nearest hospital (gvt) ,as it was remote area then he was reffered to higher centre,i took him there too and made sure he got the treatment........after the child recovered they put a false case of hit and run on my car driven by unknown driver and changed childs name and age (8yrs) .....I took hospital bills , receipt and investigation (CT scan,xray) photos , but i didn't take kids photo that day...I also have them money for kids further stay in hospital......they also didn't mentions about the hospitals I took him too......what can I do legally about these false claims...Will my car be taken by police ,if yes , how can I prevent it?.......As I took him too gvt hospitals & 1 private hospital can medical records help me too prove my case...
