Mutation of one property in 2 names
Hi, I have a property on Agra. Since it was corner house I purchased extra land and have a separate sale deed for the extra land and main house. Can I get mutation done of the main house and the extra land in the name of 2 different sellers i.e one who is buying extra land only and other who is buying main house?
A.Dear Client,
it is possible to get mutation done of the main house and the extra land in the name of two different sellers. However, the process and requirements for mutation may vary depending on the state laws and regulations. In general, mutation of property is the process of transferring the ownership of a property from one person to another in the revenue records of the government
To get mutation done of the main house and the extra land in the name of two different sellers, you need to follow the mutation process as per the state laws and regulations. You may need to submit the following documents for mutation application
For mutation of the main house:
Sale deed of the main house
Proof of ownership of the main house
Latest property tax receipt
Identity proof of the seller and buyer
Application for mutation with stamp affixed
For mutation of the extra land:
Sale deed of the extra land
Proof of ownership of the extra land
Latest property tax receipt
Identity proof of the seller and buyer
Application for mutation with stamp affixed
Once you have submitted the required documents, the revenue department will verify the documents and process the mutation application. After the mutation is done, the ownership of the main house and the extra land will be transferred to the respective buyers as per the sale deeds.
