On my farewell i decided to bring my phone bjt it was not my intention to bring the phone inside the school premises i planned to keep it in my friends vehicle but somehow that could'nt be possible and i had to hand it over to my school teacher but they confiscated it for 3 months and now denying to return it by saying that IT'S a cbse rule.
i want to ask that is there any cbse rule like that and how do i get my phone back, do they have the right to keep someone's private property and never return it, should i file a police complaint against them ?

A.Dear Client,
If a school is generally follows the CBSC rules strictly in all aspects then it might not be possible to recover your device back. Talk to the management authority and write a handwritten apology letter and bring it to the notice of the parent and write a letter to the CBSC board as a means of last resort
