Current Chairman is refusing to provide NOC for SRA name change due personal grudges with me. is there any circular or bye law where Society need to share the NOC letter within 7 days. I have sale deed available

A.On what grounds have you applied for SRA name change, it is not possible before completing of 10 years from the date of OC. provide us more details and we shall be able to guide you in detail.

A.Dear Client,
A property built up in SRA land got a lock-in period of 10 years to sell or buy. If the building is constructed on SRA land, then the Builder can not sell it without the consent/NOC of the concerned authority. Even after the cessation of lock-in period, you need to take permission from the authority for the redevelopment of the building built up on SRA land. So before buying the property, you need to clarify the matter from the office of SRA. When the Society refused to issue NOC for the transaction or change of name of the building built up on SRA Land, then you may escalate your grievance/complaint before the Registrar or Dy. Registrar of the Cooperative Societies for its redressal.
