A.Dear Client,
If the discrepancy is on the Aadhar card, you may need to update the information. Aadhar card corrections can typically be done online through the official Aadhar website or by visiting an Aadhar Enrolment Center. If the discrepancy is on the PAN card, you can apply for a correction or update through the official NSDL or UTIITSL websites. This process may require submitting documents to support the correction. In case there are legal reasons for the discrepancy, such as a name change, your mother may need to create a name change affidavit and publish a notice in a local newspaper. Ensure that all necessary supporting documents, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, or name change affidavits, are in order to substantiate the requested corrections. Once the name is corrected on both the Aadhar card and PAN card, you can proceed with your passport application, ensuring that the name matches on all relevant documents.
