Mental Harassment by husband to me and daughter Mental Harassment by husband to me and daughter

My husband daily harassess me and my daughter on small small issues...i used to have credit cards but since last some months i realised its going too much on cards i blocked all my credit cards. This is the main fact which bothers my husband....Every friday he wants to go out for drinks with friends / colleagues and want to use my card...in fact even i do not use card for my own purpose....earlier he used to take the cards which he used to pay some amount towards the use which he used to do. But since when i blocked all cards he has started getting wild....abusing me with faul words, hitting me and my daughter of 12 year without any reason....taking out frustration of mother and sister on me and my daughter...this has become a regular habit..Even during my pregnancy my in laws had tortured me mentally which i just kept quiet for my child...Even when my daughter was 6-7 year old...he had hit her with badminton racket till it broke...her legs had become black and blue...which my in laws did not even shout or scold him...i had threatened that time to lodge a police complaint against him if he dares to hit my daughter again...but again after his father's demise in 2020,,,the violence has again started...My daughter is actually very scared of him...she literally pours her heart out and this situation has started little bit on her studies. If she scores less mark, he literally scolds, hits her....We both me and daughter actually dont want to stay with these people and i really want to divorce and take an aluminy. In november 2022, he forced my parents to pay him 2.7 lacs which i had given to my parents towards their health (my mother is a parkinson patient and my father too is old) so me and my elder sister share the expenses....I have lot of things to say but dont even have anyone close to me to speak out Me and my daughter are only for each other....I actually do not want to stay in this house....his father used to take money from me every month....I actually need help to get rid of this toxic life and I always think for my daughter first. Also i have taken care of my daughters education and all needs right from start which he had hardly seen / taken care...in fact it can said nothing....I really have lot of things to speak up. In back of my mind I always think of my daughter....Please suggest and guide me.

A.Dear Client,
Firstly, document instances of harassment, abuse, and any financial transactions, especially the money he forced your parents to pay him. Further, collect any evidence you have, such as photographs, text messages, or witnesses who can support your claims. If you and your daughter are in immediate danger, you can consider seeking a restraining order or protection order against your husband under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. If you decide to pursue divorce, we can guide you through the legal requirements and procedures involved. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to alimony. Your daughter's well-being is a priority, and the court will consider her best interests when determining custody and support.
