Security threat by Society member and MC support
5 months ago
Am staying in residential society in Mumbai and have a stilt parking. have put parking rope a chain as block for pedestrians.
In October one family of MC member is damaging rope and car , got his cctv by lot of push. I presented the details to MC and culprit member over email.
They skiped to answer but chose to remove CCTV camera that recorded the incident.
Now again the car an rope getting damaged ocassionaly but I can't prove who did it.
MC is harrassing indirectly by removing CCTV and not responding to emails of complaints.
How to get protection here legally as police normally don't help in securing CCTV back.
What remedy I have for recovery
A.Dear Client,
Consider sending a legal notice to the MC, outlining the issues, damages incurred, and seeking resolution. If the MC fails to respond or take appropriate action, you can file a complaint with the Registrar of Societies (RoS). The RoS has the authority to intervene in matters related to the functioning of residential societies and address disputes between members. Inform the local police about the ongoing harassment and damage to your property.
