A.Dear Client,
The Competition Act, 2002 prohibits anti-competitive agreements, and abuse of dominant positions and regulates combinations (mergers and acquisitions) with a view to ensure that there is no adverse effect on competition in India. Section 41 of the Competition Act, 2002 (Competition Act) empowers the Director General (DG) with wide-ranging powers to assist CCI when directed to do so, in investigating into any contravention of the provisions of the Competition Act or any rules and regulations made thereunder. Any person, consumer or their association or trade association can file information before the Commission along with prescribed application fees, The procedure for filing information is available on the official website of CCI. You may escalate your grievance before the CCI for a resolution in the matter.
