Mumbai traffic has issued a challan for Rs 2000 speeding vehicle at free way . I had a medical emergency as pain in chest due to BP. I thought going to my office which is near to ballard estate and can show to doctor and take my regular BP medicine. I wrote to Mumbai traffic police on email but it was declined to accept my case.
Please suggest a way forward

Violation of traffic rules for any reason is not pardoned by the Traffic Police who are the controlling authority to monitor the compliance of traffic rules prescribed under the Motor Vehicle Act and Rules. You can write to the Commissioner of Police or Dy. Commissioner of Police for consideration in remission of fines caused under unavoidable circumstances and the matter solely depends upon the discretion of the authority.
