On November 8th i made a prepaid grocery order for Rs.622 and delivery is said to be done on 12th November. But i didn't received my order due to some issue from seller side. I made a call to customer care and they told me to cancel the order and put a new one. But I'm not able to cancel my order. After that I made a call weekly to customer care to know about my refund and they replied that they inform the higher authorities. I got many mails from their different representatives with content that:-(a) put a new order / (b) need more time / (c) prescribed hours or day that the problem will be solved.... like this. I'm fed with this game. I know for everyone this is a small amount but for me this is my one day wage. What will I do?

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a legal notice but it is expensive. Then you can file a case before consumer forum.

A.Dear Client,
In the given situation, you can serve a legal notice to the online grocery shop for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice to resolve the grievance failing which you can file a complaint before the Consumer Court or Consumer Affairs Deptt online mode through e-daakhil portal ( https://edaakhil.nic.in/edaakhil/ ) following the provision of Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and Consumer Protection(Direct Selling) Rules, 2021 for redressal of your grievance. It may work fast to redress the grievance, failing which you may file an offline Complaint against the online service provider before the Dist. Consumer Court under whose jurisdiction a branch of the said grocery shop is in operation claiming a refund of the entire cost of the order paid online to them along with compensation for harassment. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action, i.e, from the date of refusal to refund the prepaid order.

The case you have presented is of malpractice done by the seller and the jurisdiction for the same will fall under the Consumer Protection Act, of 2019. As you have mentioned that it is a daily wage for you I am suggesting you to lodge a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline.
