I purchased a EV scooter. I did not get the periodic maintenance done as per the user manual as the dealer insisted on taking the EV for servicing at the service station instead of Sales point as promised during the sale of the vehicle.

A.Dear Client,
Begin by reviewing the terms and conditions stated in your sales agreement and user manual to understand the agreed-upon servicing arrangements. If the dealer initially promised servicing at the sales point and is now directing you to the service station, you may consider discussing the matter with the dealer directly, emphasizing the importance of the initially agreed-upon terms. Clearly communicate your preference for servicing at the sales point and inquire about the reasons for the change in practice. If the issue persists, you may escalate the matter to the higher authorities within the dealership or contact the EV manufacturer's customer service. Keeping records of your communication and any written commitments from the dealer can be beneficial in case further action is necessary.

A.Dear Client,
Few services including periodical maintenance of the new vehicle is rendered by the seller during the warranty period. If the seller denies service or maintenance, then you may file a complaint before the Consumer Court against the seller over a deficiency in service and unfair trade practice claiming compensation for harassment. Complaint should be filed within two years from the date of cause of action.
