A.Dear Sir,
The Bankers are correct because all the laws are in their favour. You have only option of getting a criminal case registered and continued against the persons who committed such offences otherwise you may go to High Court.

A.Dear client,
You are correct on the zero liability, according to the apex bank of India, the Reserve Bank of India if any customers within the time period of 3 days report an incidence of a fraudulent transaction then they will bear no liability and the complete amount will be refunded back to the person's account. However, the time period to report such fraudulent transactions is 3 days for resorting to Zero Liability. As in your enquiry, you have not mentioned the time you took to report the transaction I would advise you to cross-check if the report was filed within the given time period of 3 days or not.
If the transaction fraud has taken place as a result of your negligence like sharing OTP or PIN then you will have to bear the losses till you report the transaction, and if the fraudulent transaction takes place again then you will be getting a refund. These rules regarding fraudulent transactions are mentioned in the RBI guidelines.
Thank You

A.Dear Client,
Banking fraud involves cybercriminals stealing sensitive information to conduct unauthorized transactions. This can be through phishing links or hacking of systems. If you fall victim to such fraud. If you do not get a full reimbursement then you should make a complaint to the Banking Ombudsman following RBI guidelines for digital transactions. You can also do this online at cms.rbi.org.in or by sending an email to the Banking Ombudsman at [email protected].
