A.Dear Sir,
Always go with fathers place of residence and caste otherwise it will be very difficult for you to continue with that caste certificate.

A.Dear Client,
To obtain a caste certificate, it's essential to follow the regulations of the relevant authorities. Generally, caste certificates are issued based on the paternal side. However, the specific rules can vary between states and regions. Given that your father belongs to Uttar Pradesh and your mother is from Maharashtra, both sharing the same caste and surname, it might be possible to obtain the certificate using either parent's documents. It would be advisable to contact the local authorities responsible for issuing caste certificates in your current place of residence and inquire about the specific requirements and procedures. They can guide you on the necessary documentation and any additional steps needed for obtaining a caste certificate considering your unique family background. Always ensure to follow the legal procedures to avoid any complications in the future.
Thankyou

A.Dear Client,
Usually, the child gets the caste of his/her father only. There is no direct prescribed law in this regard. You are entitled to get the caste recognition of your mother applying for the same with her documents. However, you have to satisfy the competent authority about your entitlement on the ground that you were brought up by your mother for all the years in the community to which your mother belonged. You may visit the office of the caste certificate issuing authority for further clarification and steps.
