How to get obc certificate with help of grandfather's bonafide certificate

How to get obc caste certificate in Bengal? My caste belongs in the obc list of West Bengal as well as in the central list. Technically my caste is "yadav (ahir)". Even my father's income is also under( non creamy layer). But in Bengal we need to provide proof of caste ( that i belong to a particular community/ caste). And my father doesn't have caste certificate. He never made caste certificate for himself. So I am the first generation to make the caste certificate. Although my grandfather (dead) has completed his schooling from West Bengal, has his 10th marksheet from West Bengal, his bonafide certificate from Bengal. And in that only his name is written with surname. (Name + Yadav is written but ahir is not written). So can I use that certificate to prove my caste? Please help out

The documents required for an OBC certificate in West Benga are an Online acknowledgment slip, copy of Passport picture, Birth Certificate xerox, Aadhar Card Xerox (Your and your father), Voter Card Xerox (if applicable) (Your and your father), Ration Card Xerox (Your and your father), Genealogical tree chart (বংশপঞ্জি) (signed by the panchayat pradhan/municipality), Income certificate of the Panchayat/Municipality, Income Affidavit from the court, Residential Certificate, OBC Certificate of your father/or any member of your family in case you're not the 1st gen applicant, Current Voter List, Aadhar Card and Voter Card xerox of 2 witnesses, For further clarification you need to visit the office of SDM/DM/Tehashildar and for steps.
To obtain an OBC caste certificate in West Bengal, you should follow these steps:
1. Collect documents: Gather necessary documents such as your grandfather's 10th marksheet, bonafide certificate, and any other relevant proofs that establish your caste as "Yadav (Ahir)".
2. Visit the local government office: Approach the local government office responsible for issuing caste certificates. In West Bengal, this is often the Block Development Officer's (BDO) office or the Sub-Divisional Officer's (SDO) office.
3. Application form: Obtain the OBC caste certificate application form from the office or their website. Fill it out accurately and provide all required information.
4. Affidavit: Prepare an affidavit stating your caste as "Yadav (Ahir)" and mentioning your father's non-creamy layer status. This affidavit should be on a non-judicial stamp paper of appropriate value.
5. Submit documents: Submit the completed application form, affidavit, and supporting documents to the designated officer. Ensure that you have copies of all documents and the originals for verification.
6. Verification process: The authorities may conduct an inquiry to verify the details provided in your application. Be available during this process if required.
7. Follow up: Keep track of your application status and follow up with the office if needed. Once approved, you will be issued the OBC caste certificate.
Using your grandfather's documents may be helpful, but it's essential to confirm with the local authorities whether his certificates are acceptable as proof of your caste. If necessary, you might need to supplement them with additional documentation or affidavits to establish a direct link to your caste for the certificate issuance.
Thankyou
