Adopter has Ghosted us gave away puppy to somebody else, not sharing details Adopter has Ghosted us gave away puppy to somebody else, not sharing details

I rescued a 3 week old puppy with huge injury, got her stitches, and helped her recover. Once she was fully recovered, I found her an adopter in Delhi using online Facebook groups for "Dog and Cat Adoption". However, they could not take care of the puppy, she was very active and they could not give her proper care. So they found another adopter and gave her away within 2 weeks. They are ghosting me completely, not giving me any details of the new adopter, neither are they sharing any proof (photos/videos) that she is doing fine, or is actually even adopted.

The adopters are not picking up any calls or responding to any texts, despite having made multiple pleas for any photos/videos for proof.

I just want to make sure my puppy is doing fine, and if not, I want to bring her back. Do I have any legal recourse in this case?

A.Dear Client,
In such a situation, it's essential to prioritize the well-being of the puppy. While there may not be direct legal recourse to compel the adopters to provide updates or return the puppy, you can try the following steps. Continue attempting to communicate with the adopters, expressing your concern for the puppy's welfare and emphasizing your desire for updates. If communication remains unresponsive, consider seeking support from the online platform where the adoption was facilitated. Some platforms have guidelines and may assist in mediating disputes. Additionally, consult local animal welfare organizations or legal professionals for guidance on potential avenues within your jurisdiction. While direct legal action might be limited, raising awareness about responsible pet adoption and fostering a supportive community can contribute to better outcomes for animals in the long run.
Thankyou
