A.Dear Client,

If you have been dismissed from your position at the bank and the institution is unwilling to return your original academic certificates, it is imperative to take a systematic approach to address this issue. Begin by carefully reviewing your employment contract or the bank's policies to determine if there are provisions regarding the return of documents upon termination. Communicate directly with the Human Resources department, clearly articulating your request for the return of your academic certificates and providing any supporting evidence. If your efforts with HR prove unsuccessful, consider drafting a formal written request, including essential details such as your full name, employee ID, and termination date. Explore grievance redressal mechanisms within the organization and, if necessary, contact labor authorities or ombudsman services. Keep thorough documentation of all communication and responses, as it may be valuable if the matter requires escalation.

A.Dear Client,
Regardless of the reason behind the cessation of employment either by termination or resignation, an employer cannot withhold the original academic certificates of an ex-employee that amounts to unfair labour practice as defined under Sec.2(ra) of the Industrial Dispute Act, So, to resolve the issue you have to approach the concerned Labour Commissioner(C) by filing a complaint against the Bank over alleged unfair labour practice.
