A.Dear Client,

Your online activities create a digital footprint, which is a record of your actions on the internet. Deleting data or even formatting a device may not completely erase this footprint, as cyber experts can potentially retrieve information, even from broken hard drives. WhatsApp messages, for instance, can be recovered by intelligence agencies or cybercrime units, as a copy is stored in WhatsApp's database. There are technologies available to access recently deleted WhatsApp chats on a phone, especially if the deletion occurred within the last 48 hours and the phone is in possession. Government agencies, empowered by law, can request operators and service providers to provide available information, leading to the disclosure of complete chats. It highlights the persistence of digital footprints and the legal authority for government access to certain data from service providers.

A.Dear Client,
Whatever you do on the internet is recorded, this is called a digital footprint. It is impossible to delete a digital footprint. Even if you delete your data, format your phone 100 times, and break the internal memory card into pieces even then with the help of a broken hard drive cyber experts can retrieve data. WhatsApp text messages could be recovered by intelligence agencies or even by a cyber crime cell as whatever you share or send on WhatsApp, a copy of it is stored in the database of WhatsApp. There is a tech available to gain access to recently deleted WhatsApp chats in that phone, if you have the phone with you, in your possession provided that those chats were deleted less than 48 hours ago. Government agencies are empowered by law to ask the operators and service providers to provide the available information or data to them. So when asked service providers give the required data to the agencies, revealing their complete chats.
