A.Dear Client,

To address concerns regarding recovery agents employed by a bank, there are several avenues for filing complaints:

1. Local Police Station:You can file a complaint against the recovery agents at your local police station. Ensure to endorse a copy of the complaint to the concerned bank.

2. **Online Complaint:** Lodge a complaint against the loan recovery agents appointed by the bank online at [https://cms.rbi.org.in](https://cms.rbi.org.in) or by calling the helpline number 14440.

3. Offline Complaint: You can file an offline complaint by submitting it at the Centralised Receipt and Processing Centre (CRPC) at RBI, 4th Floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh, PIN-160017.

4. Recent Legal Precedent: Cite a recent judgment from the Hon'ble Patna High Court (Dhananjay Seth v. Union of India, 2023 SCC OnLine Pat 1393, decided on 19-5-2023), where the court directed the Superintendent of Police in all districts of Bihar to ensure that no recovery agent takes the law into their hands without an order of the competent court of law.

Additionally, consider seeking advice from a certified credit counselor for a quick counseling session. They can help explore options and guide you on the right path to resolve or settle the matter effectively.
